| A fine Old Sheffield Plate Wine Cooler, English C.1825. The Cooler of campana shape, the base and upper rim borders with foliate and shell decoration. The handles with acanthus foliage spreading tendril and vine leaf applied decoration around the lower sections of cooler. The cooler engraved on one side with coat of arms, surmounted with crest of a demi lion rampant holding a mullet between paws. Height: 11 inches. Original liner and collar. |
