   Pair Wall Mount Barber Poles


 

Description:

Pair of double ballaster turned wall mount barber poles with ball finials at each end. Each with red and white spiral painted vase turnings centering a blue painted ring and ball turned mid-section the ball finials painted white above red painted collars. The layers of paint appear to be largely re-applications done during the use of the poles by a barber shop. Under the current red, white and blue are traces of earlier paint including gold and silver.

They are the same size; the mounting brackets are different legnths making one closer (looks larger) in the image.
