Description:

British colonial water buffalo horn veneered stationary box. The horn applied in ribbed sections enclosing a light colored fitted wood(probable sandalwood) interior trimmed in turtle shell. A 'hidden' pen drawer on the side of the box is locked by a pin extending down through the side of the box.
