   NORTH CAROLINA FARM TABLE WITH SCRUBBED WALNUT TOP & OYSTER WHITE PAINT ON TAPERED, LAMBSTONGUED LEGS, 1860-70:


 

Description:
Comfortably seating for eight can be found at this North Carolina farm table which has a walnut top and tapered, lambstongued legs. The base has mellow, oyster white paint with very attractively early patina.

The construction is particularly sturdy and the top, which has a terrific, scrubbed surface, is at a perfect height for comfortable eating.

Ca 1860-70. Great for the holidays.
