Antiques Shows

The Antiques Council currently manages, on behalf of local charities, three high quality antiques shows. Dealer participants are carefully selected for the quality and authenticity of their items and are required to subscribe to the rigorous standards of the Antiques Council. Every item must be displayed with a written description, including details of age, origin and description and the dealer must guarantee every item to be as described.

Winnetka Antiques + Modernism Show.
Located at the Winnetka Community House, Winnetka IL October 22-24 with a preview party on the evening of the 21st.

This approximately 60 dealer show, benefiting the Winnetka Community House and its programs, combines what has historically been two shows, the long standing Winnetka Antiques Show and the Winnetka Modernism Show, bringing to suburban Chicago an exciting blend of the best of traditional antiques and early to mid-20th century design.

The Litchfield County Antiques Show. Held in late June as benefit for Greenwoods Counseling Service, in the picturesque Litchfield Hills at the SpringsCenter of the Kent School in Kent Connecticut. The show, features a diversified mix of forty dealers with specialties in period European, Asian and American, art, folk art, artifacts, jewelry antiques through quality mid-century modern furniture and accessories.

The Nantucket August Antiques Show. A benefit for the Nantucket Historical Association, the show is a centerpiece for a week of social events, lectures, and activities. One of the most highly regarded antiques shows on the east coast, the show attracts collectors and enthusiasts to the forty-four distinguished exhibitors who present American and European art and antique furniture, accessories, nautical items, garden and architectural ornament, and folk art.
