   HOMEMADE WOODEN FISH WEATHERVANE WITH GREAT SILVERED PATINATION, CA 1920-40:


 

Description:

Wooden fish weathervane with beautiful form and even better patina. Pine with a silvered surface from lots of outdoor exposure. The original wire rod is inside, capped with the fish sandwiched between the original nuts and washers. Homemade, ca 1920-40. Found in western, upstate, New York.

Mounts: I had both a flat surface mount (shown) and a wall mount made for your choice of displays.
