This lovely little paint decorated 19th C. wash stand is made of pine and poplar, with a finely dovetailed and scalloped gallery, surrounding a top cut out for a wash basin and cups, sitting on a skirt that is supported by block and turned legs over a lower shelf with dovetailed drawer and original pulls. The colors are slightly faded but still bright, with gold, green and black foliate and accents on a yellow ground. The top and gallery are in white. All original. Measuring 18"w by 18-1/2"d by 38"t to the top of the back splash. |
