The brooch of an elongated rectangular shaped form, centering a floral rosette, set with a surround of eight fancy cut pale aquamarine blue paste, flanked with a radiating foliate section at each end, closed back silver setting. English, C. 1790. Measures: - approximately 1 7/8 x 7/8 inches.Item Weight: 17.01 grams. Vauxhall glass is synonymous with small glass set jewels of the late 18th century and are quite rare. |
