| Beatufully painted lap writing desk with a butterfly depicted with flowers and fruit on the top of the desk. The sides are decorated as well. The interior is decorated with blue and gold and black florishes. Found in Springfield, Mass., some of the original contents are still inside,including a Reward of Merit and 19th century photo of the probable owner. The lid meadures 9 inches high by 14 inches wide. |
