American, Margot Van Voorhies Carr married Antonio Castillo of Los Castillo in Taxco 1937.The firm used many of her designs and her artistry was depicted in much of the early works of Los Castillo. In 1948 after her marriage ended, she set up her own workshop, working until her death in 1974. |
