Description: |

This sage green and red backgammon board, with black painted exterior and trim, is of the folding variety meant to look like a pair of large books. The paint is original, with great patina, and the graphics receive an extra degree of punch from the large crossed lines between the triangular spaces. An unusually nice, 19th century example, made of softwood, ca 1870-1890. |
